Helping Consumers Research Wellness Products
Last updated
Our mission
Wellness Buyer Guide helps consumers understand products, ingredients and purchasing considerations before making decisions.
Wellness products are often marketed with confident language. We aim to slow that process down: to separate what a manufacturer says from what independent evidence shows, to explain ingredients in plain language, and to lay out the practical questions worth asking before you buy.
What we publish
- Product reviews that examine publicly available product information, attributed manufacturer claims, ingredients, available evidence, potential limitations and purchasing terms.
- Comparisons that place similar products side by side using the same criteria.
- Ingredient articles that explain commonly used ingredients and what research has examined.
- Wellness guides that help you build research skills, such as reading labels and evaluating claims.
What we are not
Wellness Buyer Guide is not an online store, and we are not the manufacturer or seller of any product we write about. We do not provide medical advice. Some articles contain affiliate links; you can read how we handle them in our affiliate disclosure.
How we work
Our articles are research-based. We do not claim firsthand experience with a product unless the author actually used or tested it. Read our editorial policy to learn how we select sources, handle manufacturer claims and make corrections.
